Release date for Sands of Ruin!

I’ve got excellent new for everyone today, the game itself is going to be released next week on the 24th of Friday.

The reason for the game experiencing technical difficulties was due to a small plugin that was on known as Quixel as part of Unreal Engine by Epic. Upon disabling it and restarting Unreal Engine, once I redid the build for the game, it ran without any issue whatsoever.

I also had to remove some unused assets to reduce the file size of the game build to less than 4gigs.

Funny thing to keep in mind is that the most complicated problems can have the least complicated solutions, though people nowadays think of it the other way around.

At this time I will have to squash a few bugs while I do some test builds for the game and installer. Currently within the game itself I have noticed around the end of the game the texture for the mountains, hills and sand is missing. That is an issue I must remedy before release of the demo.

On the bright side though, the game runs very well and all functions are optimal.
